Adrienne Owens Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 So I love reading and on this free book site called wattpad you can write and/or edit books or just read whatever you want. So I was bored one night and quickly became tired of seeing mistakes in peoples books so I offered to edit them. Once I started doing it I was hooked. I love doing it, it gives me an adrenaline rush... Yeah it probably sounds weird but it does I just love the whole process. Anyways I was wondering: How do I become an editor? What do I need a degree in? What type of works can I edit and what is the difference? What should I practice now if anything? I was thinking about going to NYU because I heard they have a good program for becoming an editor and I poked around their website last night. My friend first told me that they had a good program and that is what got me interested and also I have always wanted to go to college in NY.
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted September 10, 2017 Editall/Catmv Posted September 10, 2017 I'm afraid you've selected the wrong site for your question. This site is about the former dmoz.com and potential successors.
RZ Admin Elper Posted September 21, 2017 RZ Admin Posted September 21, 2017 Though editing in an Internet Directory (which is what DMOZ was) or a similar site can be good practice... elper {moz}:curlie: All opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily represent the official point of view of the administration of either this forum or the directory.
