TheAlphaWeb Posted March 25, 2017 Posted March 25, 2017 (edited) It seems to be the end of an era. Well done to every single person involved. It is a shame the person who pulled the plug did not see the potential of a directory based system. Edited March 25, 2017 by TheAlphaWeb
Guest bryllupsfotograf Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 'is the domain for sale ? I would like to buy ;-)

Alper01_ Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 Why dmoz close ı dont undertand and we cant add new sit
RZ Admin Elper Posted May 6, 2017 RZ Admin Posted May 6, 2017 All things must come to an end... and this was Dmoz's :( We hope to have a new human-edited directory online soon... elper {moz}:curlie: All opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily represent the official point of view of the administration of either this forum or the directory.
Meta Jezebel Posted May 6, 2017 Meta Posted May 6, 2017 Additionally , Dmoz was only a domain. The directory as everyone knows it is still alive, but unable to take submissions and applications until it is rehoused on another domain with an editor interface. This takes time and we were given only a couple of weeks notice to move a directory with millions of links and a complicated editor interface. The directory and editors will be back soon.
mnirgr Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Comes a shock to me though I hadn't been active in here for years, damn shame so much work went into it but things change, just something else from the past that was important and is no longer.
Meta informator Posted May 9, 2017 Meta Posted May 9, 2017 The directory that was known as dmoz may rise again and still have a future... 1 Curlie (Dmoz) Meta editor informator
tomhanway Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 @Jezebel: I look forward to helping build dmoz upon its imminent return. All the best ~ Tom Hanway
