Kerry Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Hello, I would like to know how I can contact the editor of Kids and Teens: Teen Life: Online Communities. I submitted my site a long time ago to the correct category and I believe my website would be a great addition to this specific section as its content is of high quality and so is its web presence. I have submitted a good suitable title and also a short descriptive description. I am not sure if there is any advice you may be able to give me about this but I would love for my website to be listed in this category The URL I have set as my homepage if you would like to tell me if anything is wrong with how I am submitting or the website. Thanks for taking your time reading and I hope it is fine to post these questions. Kerry
RZ Admin Elper Posted August 17, 2009 RZ Admin Posted August 17, 2009 Hi Kerry, We don't do site status checks anymore, which is basically what you are asking. We also don't give sites preferential treatment. You've suggested your site to the correct category, and eventually an editor will review it, unfortunately no-one can say when that will be. If you have some spare time and feel that you can work objectively (as in not simply to add your own sites), you could apply to be an editor yourself. elper {moz}:curlie: All opinions expressed are my own, and do not necessarily represent the official point of view of the administration of either this forum or the directory.
Editall/Catmv makrhod Posted August 17, 2009 Editall/Catmv Posted August 17, 2009 I am not sure if there is any advice you may be able to give me about thisCertainly. Please do not keep suggesting your website. Each time, you have acknowledged reading the instructions, which clearly explain that repeated suggestions are not only unwelcome but unnecessary. They do not increase the likelihood of a volunteer seeing your site, and in fact they just make more work. As elper says, you are welcome to apply to help build the directory, but please take care to complete the application form carefully and honestly, reading the instructions and advice provided. FAQ about becoming a volunteer ODP editor. I edit for the ODP and support those guidelines at all times, but my opinions are my own.
