Actually, they are supposed to be in estonian. If we didn't have strings that are marked to be estonian, the software would indeed automatically use english ones. I am forwarding this issue to the appropriate people, thanks for notifying us.

I reported this problem some time ago and provided the missing translations for Estonian. We are currently waiting for staff to fix some problems with the language tools. When they have done that the language will be changed to Estonian.

 

I agree that Finnish shouldn't have been used at all for this category and that it should have remained in English until an Estonian translation was ready.

I agree, and I will add that we need more Estonian speaking editors (I am not one of them I am still learning Estonian, a friend helped me with the translations). I can give you one tip, read carefully and if you get a rejection read that carefully and try again. I didn't get in the first time either.

Cannot access the web page ,authorization required. Just wanted to apply for editor position, but the application form is not in estonian nor english, it's in finnish though. Any chance to do it other way so I could help you later with translations ?
