Hi, I have been trying to get listed for about 6 months now. I keep re writing my Title and Description to be very non objective and without sales lingo. ( Still no luck) Only 4 other sites in this category -

Search for Homes, Condos, Town Houses, Co-ops for Sale or Rent in Westchester County NY. Also view school, community, For Sale by Owner info in Harrison, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, White Plains, Rye, Rye Brook, Port Chester, Scarsdale, Purchase, Hartsdale, Bronxville NY.

I entered my site again about 2 weeks ago. But I do not know if the others were denied. There are only 4 sites in the category I want to be listed in.

I haven't checked status, but I don't need to for this.

 

And you don't need the status check either, to FOLLOW THE SUBMITTAL POLICIES!

 

So start out by following them. DO NOT RESUBMIT.

 

Now, if your site had been rejected (a matter which I haven't checked) -- repeatedly re-submitting is rude and malicious -- it is spam pure and simple.

 

And if your site had not been rejected, repeatedly re-submitting is pointless and possibly counterproductive.

 

Following the submittal policy is best, whether or not you have other information.

 

As to your concerns: we do not reject listable sites because of the suggested description. We rewrite the description and go forward. (Why should we reject good help simply because it isn't as much help as it might have been? It doesn't make sense to people trying to build a directory--which is who we are.)

You have to undestand something. I did not post it right the first time. Also when I first, started to submit my site a year ago I didnt know the rules. Since I have made corrections to all of this. I though I might have banned myself because of the few times I kept doing it. So Sorry

I did some spring cleaning and removed two of the thread and merged the other two. Your site is not banned; on the contrary it is listed in http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/New_York/Localities/H/Harrison/Business_and_Economy/ since May 12. We list real estate sites based on the location of the office, which apparently is Harrison. :moz:
