Thanks. Problems solved.
We create subcategories (in this case probably a Regional/UK one) when we have sufficient sites to do so, and an interested editorI've been looking through the Timber Framed Buildings category (https://curlie.org/.../Timber_Framing) and noticed that it is very much focused on North American sites, despite the wealth of UK sites showcasing an ancient tradition. Indeed, I've counted more than 180 UK based websites that would be suitable, including that of The Carpenters' Fellowship - I have to say I'm baffled as to why this has been omitted.. such a shame.
I understand that there are millions of websites around the world and only a limited number of DMOZ editors so I'm not surprised to notice that this category hasn't been updated since 14th Jan 1012 (I believe it was in response to some observations I made then regarding dead links). I am, however, not the only one who's disappointed at the North American bias of the listings present. I'd also mention that I suggested my own UK based timber framing site for this category in 2008 (or thereabouts... ish) and am still waiting, twiddling my thumbs... but I have to conclude that whoever maintains/edits it isn't terribly interested.
