Slightly late, some may say "as usual", the Dmoz directory is now gone...

We have a static mirror of the directory at dmoztools.net ...
The Internet Archive holds copies of most of our work: Wayback Machine
An editor built mirror is hosting a copy of the last RDF dump... thank you @sebste (add: It seems to be experiencing difficulties :-( try here)
There is a Dmoz Alumni Facebook group for editors past and present
And a new Twitter account, @CurlieCrew...
We are working on curlie.org ...

This news is essentially for editors only: The editor forums are back up and stable at https://curlie.org/forum/
To log in you need to use your Dmoz editor name (all lower case) and request a new password...
If something doesn't work as expected, please post in these forums (start a new thread).

In case you are wondering, since April 8, the technical editor team has been busy adapting the directory software to run in a new environment.

Since May 21 2017, the Curlie Crew have been steadily closing bugs. The directory is now fully editable, and editor reinstatements are available again.
We are currently working on making public site suggestions and new editor applications available again.
