At the beginning of this week Apple introduced a new web browser called Safari. Great browser, but I can't login to RZ. Its based on the Konqueror rendering engine so some other browsers might have the same problem I am having. The issue I believe is related to the RZ cookies. The cookie path points to /start_page.php when I believe it can just link to / I could be wrong because I don't run a message board, but a very similar solution was found for another message board I participate in. Listed but no search results

Now that my site has been listed in a specific category about two weeks, I expected that it would appear on a list after submitting a search for the type of product that it is, i.e. "change purses". However, the results are zero and no list is produced, even after searching for the page title, there are no results. Yet, when I search for various other products such as wallets and purses a list for each of those appears. Can anyone offer an explanation?

I have been searching long and hard for an existing category (UK search engines), but I cannot find it anywhere. It used to be a subcategory of: http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Guides_and_Directories/ and still is in the Google version of the ODP: http://directory.google.com/Top/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Guides_and_Directories/Search_Engines/ However, looking through dmoz, it doesn't appear anywhere. It doesn't look like the category has been moved either, nor have the sites been transferred to a new category. www.diabeteshighlights.at is listed in the category Top: World: Deutsch: Wissenschaft: Medizin: Humanmedizin: Innere Medizin: Endokrinologie: Diabetologie (9) if you search after diabetes highlights you won´t find it! why?

Hello, I was wondering if you's think Dmoz will benefit from a "New" button in categories when new sites are added something like over at Yahoo! I say this because well.. mostly SEO's and Webmasters use the directory to add their sites.. and i really do want to keep track of when sites are getting added.. If there was a "New" button in the cat and topic i submit too means i won't have to browse through all the localties i submit too.. and i can just go check where the New sites have been added.. It appears that the entire category: Shopping: Antiques and Collectibles: Resources and Information Has disappeared from DMOZ. When you find a listing which was under that category and then click on the URL to go into that category you get: "The page you attempted to access does not exist on this site." West Midlands different to Regions->West Midlands?

It seems to me there is a 'bug' that West Midlands has content different to Regions->WestMidlands. I'm not talking about the proper and correct use of '@' in order to give the user different routes to the same result. I'm talking about users ending at a different final pages with logically the same content, yet with different actual content. The case in point. It looks like http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Holidays/Christmas/Decorations/Christmas_Lights/ has been removed in the last few days. If you do a search for christmas lights it brings up the category but when you click on it, it gives an error. Anyone know what the story is?

I can not submit my URL .Every time I fill out the form and hit the submit button,it takes forever to load then tells me the sight cant be found.Any ideas,Im kinda new at this computer thing and Im not sure if Im doing something wrong or if its the sight.Im also not sure Im asking for help in the right place if not please direct me to where I should be asking for help.Thank you, Joya

If you read the following post in 'Announcements': http://www.resource-zone.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=announce&Number=5585&view=collapsed it details how to have your 'status' here changed from 'Member' to 'Editor'. Once you are set as 'Editor' you will then be able to access the 'Editor Hangout'. In there we detail any problems that may affect editors only. Hello, I was so happy to see that I was accepted as an editor this weekend. I immediately logged in to read the guidelines and everything was working fine. However, since that initial log in, my password has never been accepted again. I filled out the password reminder form. The password e-mailed to me was the exact one I was trying to log on with. Hello, My website 1-web-hosting-domain-registration-services.com was added in the following category of ODP dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting/1/ on 3rd. June or 2nd June 2002( not sure). The latest update was on 15 june 2002 but my site is still not searchable even now. Its listed in the category. All the other newly added sites can be searched and found but my website still being listed for last 15 days cannot be found. What seems to be the problem? Is it an error or some normal procedure i do not know about? Regards Safvan
