Hello! I sent an application form to be an editor at: Kids and Teens / Pre-School / Games, 2 months ago and I am still waiting some response. How long this usually takes? When I read the guidelines, it said (several weeks). Are you still accepting new editors? Thanks

The kids and teens directory is different from the main nodes in Curlie. Kids and Teens is governed by a special set of editors known as kmetas, kcatmods and keditalls. Also, the Kids and Teens directory has it's own set of editing guidelines. Any site suggested or added to the Kids and Teens directory must be appropriate for young people aged 18 and under. All sites added here will have age tags which are labeled as Kids, Teens, and Mature Teens. So if you enjoy reviewing sites for young people and working in smaller areas then perhaps you may want to look into editing in the Kids and Teens directory.

this is my first time here, so Hello everybody! I've just listed (send proposal) of my new project in the Category that I think is the best (EspaƱa:Viajesyturismo:rural- ), but anyway I think that there could be a Category called something like: "Family:having fun together", because in the web we have just developed, there are things to do as "tourism", but our objective is to help families to of course, travel together, but also to have fun together, and help parents to organise their free time doing nice things with their kids, and not always expensive activities. We want to promote "slow-time with our kids", like the "slow-food" fashion, quite, happy and quality time …

Hello, I would like to know how I can contact the editor of Kids and Teens: Teen Life: Online Communities. I submitted my site a long time ago to the correct category and I believe my website would be a great addition to this specific section as its content is of high quality and so is its web presence. I have submitted a good suitable title and also a short descriptive description. I am not sure if there is any advice you may be able to give me about this but I would love for my website to be listed in this category The URL I have set as my homepage if you would like to tell me if anything is wrong with how I am submitting or the website. Thanks for ta…

I would like to apologize for a mistake my husband and I have made. Earlier I suggested ... to Kids and Teens > Sports and Hobbies > Crafts. Today I found that my husband has duplicated this submission in an effort to help. I don't want to be rejected for duplicate submissions. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Sincerely, Emily.

I submitted a non-commercial educational site, <url removed>, to the following category, Kids and Teens->School Time->Social Studies->World Cultures->Asia->Japan. Is this site better suited to a Regional category, and if so, should I resubmit? Thanks in advance.

A while back I submitted my site <url removed> to the Kids Bands category. In browsing around Dmoz tonight I found the 'Kids and Teens: Pre-School: Television: Playhouse Disney' cateogry which is a much better fit. Should I not worry about it or resubmit? Since neither category has an editor I'm not sure the person reviewing the site would realize that it is a Playhouse Disney TV show and move it on their own. Andy

Hello, My math website for children had been in the directory: Kids and Teens, School Time, Math, Arithmetic for a couple of years. I checked recently and found that it has been removed from the entire directory. Is there any way to find out why? Since its original inclusion, the site has grown tremendously and has become a trusted educational resource. It does not violate any ODP Kids and Teens guidelines, offers many high quality math activities, and is entirely free of charge. I would very much like to know what has happened and if there is anything I can do to help bring it back. Thank you. mathteacher

My site doesn't really fit under one category. I put my books I write on there, my movies, games, jokes and more. What category do I put it under?

My Website is (URL deleted) and got online games for kids that is releated to dress up games, paperdolls etc. Since it's not listed yet can I assume that it's been rejected for multiple submissions?

Hi, I submitted to Kids and Teens: News: Magazines and E-zines when I should have submitted to Kids and Teens: School Time: Social Studies: Magazines and E-zines. The url is <URL removed>, I don't know if I've been turned down or not, but that is not why I've posted. Do I have to resubmit? I chose the category absentmindedly (sorry). On a side note, ChickaDEE probably should be in Kids and Teens: Entertainment: Magazines and E-zines.

Just in case anyone was wondering . . . Due to the sensitive nature of this forum, it employs a different type of moderation than any other forum here at the Public Forum. Anytime someone posts to the K&T forum, that post has to be approved by an administrator or moderator. That's why you'll sometimes find a lag between the time you submit your posts, and the time they actually appear in this forum.
