Just wondering about the status of my application. The application was for:
Computers: Education: Certification: Cisco: Practice Exams
The username was rohgan04.
I had revised my application twice based on reviewer feedback. The last one was submitted on Wed, 5 Nov 2003. I received the "application received" email but have not heard back after that. My application on Nov 3 and Nov 4 was rejected ( I submitted a revised application based on reviwer comments).
Thanks

Thanks, I appreciate it. Any estimate on how long it takes? I got the reply for my first two in 24 hours and this one has been around for 10 days now. Is this expected?

It's the same as for site submissions reviews: it's absolutely impossible to make an estimation. It can be very fast or take longer -- but applications are usually reviewed in a few weeks.

It's been 6 weeks. Just wondering if it is still in Q and waiting to be reviewed.

You became an editor on Nov 18th. I guess you didn't get the letter :) You can log in via the Editor Login link on the top right corner of main http://dmoz.org/ page. If you don't know your password go to http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/forgot.cgi

I think that dmjass was actually saying that he would like to be the editor of that category, and was wondering how long the application process takes. Unfortunately for dmjass the process was rather quick as it looks like that application was denied.
I would recommend to anyone applying that you read through our [thread=1289]FAQ and General Advice[/thread] thread. There is some great advice in there for anyone trying to become an editor.
