I recently applied for http://www.dmoz.org/...onomy/Shopping/ and was rejected. This is the comment the Editor that review my application sent me.

---Hello,

County level shopping categories are only for stores with locations throughout the county. http://www.acousticinnovations.com/ and http://www.palmbeachjewelry.com/ would be listed in Boca Raton (if in fact the latter had a bricks and mortar store, if not it would only be listed in the Shopping/ branch of the directory).

Thank you,
Marisa--------------

I totally agree with Marisa, And it was a stupid mistake in my part for not Noticing the mistake. My question is can i re-apply for the same category and correct my mistake? Will i be rejected again if i do? Is there a rule againts doing this? Many thanks.

First, read the FAQ and General Advice thread. There are probably things in there that will help you with the application. I would recommend not applying for a county category to start. If you are really interested in a Regional category then it is best to start in a locality. A subcategory under Boca Raton or West Palm Beach would be good. Then find example sites appropriate to that category, complete the application offline using Word (or any text editor) so that you can spell check the application before you submit it.

Hope some of that helps :)

The forums are on a different server and sometimes takes a while (24 hours max.)for the password files to sync up. :)

Just like Nikos I did not complete the application properly. In my case, I failed to supply 3 sample URLs on my application (I only provided 1).

My question is this, am I allowed to reapply if I provided the required information?

But since we can't access the old application, you will have to fill the whole form again - not only the additional parts.
