Hi, I have been trying to get my website <url removed> listed for sometime. I really do not know how my request is going and am not quite sure where to go and see the status of my application.

Could anybody tell me how to find out if my application is going?

regards

Simon Quanstrom

URL removed -- we don't discuss specific sites here. Thanks.

"6. Our Priorities are Our Data Users and the Community" - Data users? Do you mean the people who use the directory to find what they're looking for?

http://www.dmoz.org/...alcontract.html - I just want clarification on you mean by "data users"? Not trying to stir anything up, just curious.

Data users are surfers and those who import our database to use as a resource.

We offer no services to website owners.

I prefer to answer questions in the forum and ignore uninvited PMs from non-editors.

Actually on the quoted page the term most likley means more the second group, those who use our database as a resource. I find that quite likely because of another paragraph on that page stating:

We will support our data users who choose to add proprietary and revenue generating content, and other non-free value-added functionality upon versions of the ODP in which they download. In turn, data users agree to attribute use back to us per the free use license..

An online directory that pulls it's data from the ODP? Would that be an example?
