after x time reload it "works" slowly (half shown graphic left site up, green bottom line dito.)

Hi, apparently a server was sick, but is now better; there's more information on the internal forums

I do not know if that is correct and I assume that you do not have any inside information to back up that claim. Hopefully www.dmoz.org will be upp again soon.
