ODP´s editor community has decided to publish regular reports in future, to inform the public about the development of the project.
To get started, we have compiled a report for the last year:
ODP Report January - December 2005
From end of January on, monthly reports will follow: they will be linked from this thread.
We will use the first reports to explain the meaning of basic directory data and to clarify some common misunderstandings, to make sure readers can understand the reports easily. Later, we may decide to go more into detail on specific issues, or to publish additional articles with in-depth analysis.
We hope the reports will help you to learn more about the development of the project and the work of the volunteer editor community.
